I always want to share all the great resources I find online with my amazing readers and this one is no exception. It’s a free online tool that tells you how your very own site is doing in terms of four key elements: Performance, Mobile, SEO and Security. Getting a second set of eyes – or ten sets – is never a bad thing when it comes to blogging. By nature we work alone and feedback can be really helpful. Especially in areas which may not be our expertise. This is an amazing tool and I can’t wait to share this with you!

I’ve found an amazing resource which I’m very excited to share with you to help make your work at home journey easier and more productive. Before I go into it I want to say how much I love blogging and how glad I am to have started my blog! It’s honestly the best decision I ever made! It’s Hubspot’s Website Grader Tool and I can’t wait for you to check it out. Have I said how awesome this is? Hubspot’s Website Grader Tool is pretty amazing. It takes an overall view on things like performance, SEO and security. On the first page you enter in your domain and email address.
Then you hit submit it and get your blog’s overall grade. As you can see my site received an 89%! Not bad for being only the second site I’ve built and for being pretty new at this whole blogging thing.
You can look at Performance next to see how you’re doing with your page size, page requests and page speed. Page size affects how fast or slow your pages load and you want to try to keep those below 3mb. Page speed is how fast your pages load and you want to keep that within 3 seconds. Looks like my blog is doing pretty well on this section.
Scroll down to the next section so you can see how responsive your blog/site is meaning how well you’re doing for people finding you on their mobile devices. My blog received a 30/30 on this section YAY!
Next we have your SEO score. My blog received a 25/30 on this section which I’m very pleased about since I have barely just begun to work on my SEO. If you would like more SEO tips you can read my post about the Five Essential Plugins Your Blog Is Going To Fail Without here!
Next we have Security where by blog received a 10/10 – Excellent!
And finally What’s Next! They even give you a summary of advice on how to improve your blog’s performance. How much do I love this?!
I wish I had come up with this amazing blog grading tool myself but I didn’t. I found this tool on a site called Hubspot. I know you’re dying to try it (I don’t blame you!)
